Frequently Asked Questions About CPR Classes in San Diego

How much do CPR classes cost?

Online CPR courses start at $19.95. In-person and blended CPR classes start at $49, CPR & First Aid classes start at $79, and BLS for Healthcare Providers starts at $75. BLS Renewal is $59. On-site training is priced based on your group and training needs.

How long is a CPR class?

Class length depends on the format. Online courses typically take 60 to 90 minutes. Blended classes take about 2 to 3 hours total. In-person CPR classes run 3 to 4 hours, while BLS courses are about 4 to 5 hours.

Do you offer same-day certification?

Yes. All in-person and blended classes include same-day certification. You will receive your certification card before you leave. Online courses provide an instant digital certificate upon completion.

What is the difference between CPR and BLS?

CPR classes teach basic life-saving skills for the general public, including chest compressions, rescue breathing, and AED use. BLS (Basic Life Support) is a more advanced course designed for healthcare providers and includes two-person CPR, bag-valve-mask ventilation, and team-based response.

How long is certification valid?

CPR and BLS certifications are valid for 2 years. If your BLS certification is current or recently expired, you may qualify for a renewal class instead of taking the full course again.

Do employers accept online CPR certification?

Some employers accept online-only CPR certification, but many require a hands-on skills component. We recommend checking with your employer. In-person or blended classes are the safest option for meeting workplace requirements.

Can you come to our workplace for training?

Yes. We offer on-site CPR and First Aid training at workplaces, schools, and organizations. We bring all equipment and can customize the training to meet your needs.

Are your classes AHA certified?

Yes. Our courses follow current American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines, and certifications are widely accepted by employers, schools, and licensing boards.
