Is the LIFEPAK CR2 easy enough for untrained staff? Yes. It works in two steps with voice prompts, and it won’t deliver a shock unless one is needed. That said, trained responders act faster, which is why we bundle discounted staff training with every purchase.
Do I need separate pediatric pads? Not with the CR2. Its Child Mode button switches to pediatric energy levels using the same pads. Most other AEDs require separate child pads that expire on their own schedule.
