A-B-CPR & First Aid Training, Inc. (“A-B-CPR,” “we,” “our”) provides CPR, First Aid, BLS, and safety training to individuals and businesses throughout San Diego, California, as well as online courses available nationwide. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, no-shows, and rescheduling requests are handled for all training formats.

1. General Refund Policy
All registrations are non-refundable.
Purchasing a class reserves a seat in a limited-capacity session. Cancellations or absences often prevent other students from enrolling and may affect whether a class can run.
A-B-CPR may approve a refund in special situations only when the student contacts us directly. Refunds are not automatic.
2. Cancellations
2.1 Student Cancellations (In-Person Classes)
You may cancel at least 48 hours before your class.

Cancellations do not automatically trigger refunds.

You must call or email to request a refund review.
2.2 Cancellations Within 48 Hours
Cancellations inside 48 hours are treated as late cancellations and are non-refundable.
2.3 Class Cancellations by A-B-CPR
If A-B-CPR must cancel or reschedule a class:

You may transfer into another class

Request a full refund
We are not responsible for transportation or other personal costs arising from schedule changes.
3. Rescheduling Policy
3.1 Rescheduling More Than 48 Hours Before Class
Students may reschedule one time at no cost when requested 48+ hours before class.
3.2 Rescheduling Within 48 Hours
Not permitted.
This is treated as a cancellation and is non-refundable.
3.3 Courtesy Reschedule for No-Shows
If you no-show, you may contact us for one courtesy reschedule.
A second no-show requires a new registration and payment.
4. No-Show Policy
A student is considered a no-show if they:

Fail to attend

Arrive late and are not admitted

Miss significant class time (e.g., late return from breaks)
No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
5. Online Courses
5.1 Non-Refundable
Online courses are non-refundable unless employer acceptance is not met and you contact us for assistance.
5.2 Employer Acceptance
Online CPR/First Aid courses may not meet every employer’s standards.
It is your responsibility to verify acceptance before enrolling.
If your employer will not accept our online course, contact us so we can help resolve the matter.
5.3 Course Access Period
Access is generally ongoing unless material is updated or removed.
For blended (“online + in-person”) courses, completion of online modules is required before attending skills sessions.
6. Corporate & Onsite Training
Corporate clients follow the terms outlined in their training agreement and the Terms of Service.
Minimum Billing
Corporate classes are billed based on:

Actual attendance, or

Agreed minimum attendance
Whichever is greater.
Payment Terms
Invoices: Net 30
Late fee: 1% per month on overdue balances
