- Description: This 8-hour in-person EMSA (Emergency Medical Services Authority) Approved class covers CPR for adults, children, and infants, AED use, and pediatric first aid. It is ideal for those who prefer face-to-face learning and hands-on practice in a classroom setting.

American Heart Association Hybrid Childcare Class
- Description: This hybrid course includes a 3-hour self-paced online portion, followed by a 3-hour in-person skills session. It’s designed for childcare providers who need flexibility but still want hands-on training.
- The students will be Issued an AHA Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid, CPR/AED card which is accepted by Community Care Licensing.
- Price: $75 (Total for both online and in-person portions)
- Not Eligible for YMCA Grant

Why Pediatric CPR Certification Is Important
Accidents and emergencies can happen at any time, especially in environments where children are present. This certification ensures that daycare providers are prepared to act swiftly and effectively in any situation. Additionally, California state law requires all staff working in licensed childcare facilities to hold pediatric CPR and first aid certification.

YMCA Grant Application
If you’re a childcare provider looking for financial assistance to cover the cost of certification, you may be eligible for the YMCA Childcare Provider Grant. This grant offers support to childcare providers who need help paying for required certifications like the Pediatric CPR & First Aid Certification.
